Child Support Recalculation Service

As of July 4, 2005 , Manitoba Justice is offering a Child Support Recalculation Service free of charge excluding court filing fees. • The order must contain an amount for child support based on the Child Support Guidelines tables.
  • The child support order must, in most cases, be based on the actual income of the parent paying the child support.
  • Both parents must live in Manitoba .
  • One of the parents must get a court order authorizing the recalculation.

This service applies to recalculation of child support orders under The Family Maintenance Act in Manitoba and the federal Divorce Act.
