The three courts of Manitoba are pleased to welcome you to their new website.
The Chief Justice of Manitoba, the Chief Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench and the Chief Judge of the Provincial Court established the Manitoba Courts Website Committee with the support and cooperation of Manitoba Justice.
The Website Committee’s mandate is to
create a new, attractive and user friendly courts website that uses technology that is current and capable of integrating future services and technology, as needed; the websites for each court are to be relevant for the various users and target audiences, enhance access to justice and the administration of justice.
The new website is the important first step in fulfilling this mandate. It reorganizes existing information for easier access through new portals and links and by identifying key users: lawyers, media, educators, and litigants who represent themselves.
New features include the capacity to post court decisions, current news items from each court, a rotating carousel to highlight other news and updates, and improved court location information. The new website has been designed for easy viewing from a mobile microsite such as a smartphone or tablet
