All of the above-noted rules concern civil proceedings. Rules respecting criminal proceedings do not exist for the Provincial Court, but do exist for the Court of Appeal and the Court of Queen's Bench. These rules were created under the Criminal Code (section 482) and are referenced as the Manitoba Criminal Appeal Rules SI/92-106 (Canada) and the Criminal Proceedings Rules of the Manitoba Court of King's Bench SI/2016-34 (Canada). These rules are published in the Canada Gazette.
